Life has come a full circle for Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan who since their devastating debuts in the year 2000 have witnessed all the possible (and some impossible) twists and turns of the roller coaster called stardom. While Hrithik hit the bull's eye with Kaho Naa Pyar Hai but failed to recreate the hit magic in his subsequent releases, Abhishek has yet to read the first 's' of success. This year however, might change the fortunes of these two talented star kids. In what is being perceived as a second innings, Hrithik and Abhishek find themselves once more facing the litmus test... only this time the stakes are much higher. All eyes are on Sooraj Barjataya's Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, which stars the Chotta B and the Roshan Jr opposite 'the girl in the same fix' Kareena Kapoor. The film in question is a remake of the 1970's Rajshri hit Chitchor. A passionate story about a girl 'who vows to love her Prem till the end of time', Hrithik and Abhishek share the same name in the film. No prize for guessing the common name! Talking of savious, Aby's baby would be hoping debutant director Apoorva Lakhia would prove to be one with Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. It is believed that Apoorva waited for two years to get Abhishek's nod before he rolled MSAMD, which is centered around a village, which gets electricity after years of darkness. Hrithik would also be eager to end his days of darkness with dad Rakesh Roshan's Koi Mil Gaya. Touted as India's first sci-fi, this is a desi ET which showcases Hrithik as a grown man with a child's brain. There's a considerable buzz about the actor's performance in the film, which also stars Preity Zinta and Rekha in key roles. So, will they or won't they... only time and the films will decide!
